Sunday April 14th
I really should get my blog posts posted. I’m about 9 days over due.
Part of me is like, whats the point? No one is reading this any way, and atleast I am still being consistent with my writing.
Today we have a pretty busy day. Quinn has a soccer game and then right after that we have a birthday party to go to.
I have roughly 3 hours this morning to work on stuff before we need to get ready. Well 2.5 if I don't want to run around like crazy.
The girls had some donuts. The girls had negotiated that if their dad ate their french toast sticks, then they would get donuts this morning. So I took the girls to QT, their favorite gas station for donuts. Quinn of course got a chocolate long john. Wren is always the un predictable one, getting a different donut each time. Today she chose a classic glazed donut.
As for me, I’m not a huge donut fan. I enjoy them, but they make me so sleepy after I eat them. Extreme sugar crash, so I opt not to get one when the girls get one.
Today, I’m going to get started on some new Teddi Kathleen books. Perhaps I’ll write a few books, and then start the illustration process.
I’m in a mood right now where my inner critic is like, you can just give up now. You’re going to put so much time and effort into this, and its not going to go anywhere. You’re going to just half-ass it, and because of that you’re just going to fail in the long run.
Then I have my other side that is like, You never know where this is going to go. Write like you are running out of time. You never know who this is going to affect and impact. Keep going even if it seems like its not going anywhere. You don’t have to have it together. You don’t have to have it in the right sequence or order. The whole point is, this message is important and kids, and moms can benefit from it.
Today we will focus on writing the books!
Much Love,
Krystal Lavender
